A/N: A little scene for Pride's nonexistent Breeders' Cup Juvenile. I said that J would be a sequel to Decent Godless People, but it looks like I lied. No sequel is planned! Because my brain just couldn't figure it out.

( The colt has a chunk the size of a quarter missing from his hoof on the morning of the Breeders' Cup. )

I was actually just thinking today how it's been a while since I've seen a fic from you! So this was quite the pleasant surprise. I love how this is so Ashleigh and Brad. Really. From their argumentative stance in the very beginning to their grins in the end. I love how you do that. And the sex? Very hot, but still so very poetic. You're brilliant, I swear.

Thanks! I've been embroiled in original fic business for the past few months, but I've had a bit of a fanfiction spree this week. I'm glad you like this one! It's been in my head in lots of different forms for a while, to the point that it was disturbing me and I needed to stop thinking about it!
