Alas, all class-related stuff has to be fully manual (he's checking metadata), but I'm definitely looking forward to trying the other features on my own :)
Fully manual is good for studio stuff but if you're on the fly and outdoors, App priority can be much handier but it's good practice to shoot fully manual as it can be quite a discipline.
I'm just at Pima for the time being. It came w/ the kit lens and an extra telephoto one. This week's reading is all about lenses, so I'll know more soon :D
Is it the class taught by Peter Hughes? I loved his class, and he does workshops afterward that you can go on, so that's cool.
I have an XSI, but I am planning to upgrade to a 50d. I want to be taking portraits and doing weddings professionally a year from now, and with the weddings I did I found that the XSI just can't handle low light conditions like I needed it to.
Need an assistant? I've been kicking around the idea of pursuing wedding photography (and/or protraits), but have a lot more to learn before I can do anything about it.
You are going to have so much fun with this ! We are expecting great things. Have to pop over to flickr and check out your photos (joined so that I could view friends photos)
