Well, today is my alcoholic's birthday . . . translation, by mother's birthday. I went out for two hours today to buy her a gift and by the time I got home (3:00pm), she was already shitfaced. This is utterly depressing. Is she still working? These all may be stupid questions, but have you thought of moving out ot or giving her an ultimatum? I am sure you have told her how you because you are not one to sit quietly and let all of this happen around you, but what is her response. Does she even care? I cannot imagine that she would continue hurting you and making your life hell if she truly knew how you felt, however it sounds like she is not the same Kathy I used to know, not even close. I am sorry that you are fighting this battle alone. Honestly, if there is anything I could do, do not hesitate to ask.

Joe's memorial is this Friday at 2 pm if you are available. Maybe I will see you there.

I talked and yelled and begged til' I'm blue in the damn face. And according to her, her drinking does not affect me at all.

I already took off so I can go, where in Tascosa is it going to be?
