She is a bright and cheerful little girl, but can sometimes show a darker, almost scary side when provoked, and often hide her emotions when she is suffering. She enjoys teasing people and is not above underhanded, sneaky actions like blackmail. (albeit to get simple things like cake) She seeks to marry into money and rank, and constantly attaches herself to and flirts with any male who fullfills these marriage requirements, regardless of age. She is actually quite responsible for her age and reliable. She is never seen without her puppet Tokunaga. She finds Tokunaga adorable, yet finds normally cute things like cat suits creepy.
Background:
Anise is from a rural country town outside of Azanus called Daasu. There she grew up with her Ion, a boy very talented at card reading who because of his talents received training at Daasu's Sanctuary. Anise's parents are always in debt, due to their over generousity, so Anise dreams of marrying rich or into status to pay off their debts (as well as take care of Ion, who has always been very frail). Country life fails to impress her and she always wanted to move to the city. When Ion received a scholarship to continue his studies at the Divine Sanctuary, Anise (who is also quite proficent in magic) proclaimed herself his bodyguard and went with him to Azanus, where they now both live with a military official. Anise has saved up her allowance to buy herself a magitech book and has signed up for the blog program to meet more potential suitors.
