Unfortunately, calling customers into the back alley for bad tipping is frowned upon by management. I was, however, waiting for any sign of the simplest infraction as they were walking out...

Here's a free clue to the clueless: if you don't know what your tab currently sits at, ask the bartender. He or she will be happy to tell you what your current balance is.

Maybe your bar should institute an 18% gratuity added to every tab on game day. When people start complaining you can politely tell them it's because too many people stiff the staff. They do this in restaurants with parties of 6 or more for the very same reason.

We should be so lucky. The bar is more concerned with making money. They got their $150. They don't care if I walked away with $1.20.

Actually, as I had a co-bartender and a barback, I only got $.48 of that...

The owners are of the belief that the customer is always right. They spend almost no time in the bar whatsoever, so they have no sympathy. As long as they get to vacation in Hawaii twice a year...

This is yet another reason why I plan to call it quits after this football season...
