I mean the whole part about his Mom?
What does a spammer hope to accomplish with this little note?
That I write back "God I've missed you too, when can we be together again complete stranger?"

THATS IT! I should write back a heartfelt response, see what happens... No wait, then he'll keep harassing me... dammit.

I find that Nigerians are very, very heartfelt/passionate people. I was dealing with correspondence from some actual schools in Nigeria this past summer and it was like a faux love letter when I was just asking 'oh hey, was this guy a student?'

I should mention that it explains how Nigerian people tend to use language, so what looks 'normal' to them (syntax and grammar and all that aside) looks fucking ODD to us.

That's way more entertaining, and disturbing, than the myspace msgs I get!

Post a reply which is equally irrelevant. Discuss the problems you're still having with that car he helped you repair that one time. Refute the points he made about the state of hockey as a professional sport in the minds of the modern populace. Ask if he has that memo you asked him type up last Tuesday.

If he responds, agree - enthusiastically - that polar bears are indeed the most awesome animal on God's green earth, and why was he in the library yesterday?

Alright, I challenge you... to write the best possible enthusiastic reply. I'll reply to him with it...

A challenge, is it? Hmmph. Wasn't expecting that; you'll give me until at least tomorrow to write it, I trust. I don't know how I feel about ghost-writing Abnormail, but I don't think that'll stop me.

It's a lot easier to suggest possibilities than to execute them well . . .
