So I saw Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, and Less than Jake tonight with my sister, a last minute thing. I went not knowing any of the bands' music (I usually don't when I go to concerts). I was watching Live Earth, a concert organized by Al Gore for global warming (which I didn't even hear about until it was over, but they replayed it on CNBC), and it ended with The Police, which of course I really wanted to watch. Today was the Gaspee Days parade, and it went pretty well. We almost called it off because of the weather, but we decided to march. It lightly drizzled the whole time, and it was cloudy, which kept us cool. The drums got really heavy after a while, but we all survived! I had an awesome time tonight hanging with Sarah, Abbie, and Chris. I discovered the coolest place anyone could possibly watch fireworks. We went to the boathouse in Gaspee, and watched the fireworks across the water, with a dock and boats (but no obstructing trees) adding to the scene. The reflections on the water were awesome. Well Tuesday I was pretty disappointed after the last jazz band. We only recorded the three songs we did at the competition, which were all ready recorded at the competition and did not include my favorite songs. Well Friday night was Battle of the Bands at school. I decided to go at the last minute. I didn't find most of the show very entertaining, but I was glad to see one band at the beginning that wasn't ska or death metal, and then, even though they're ska, The Castronauts, as always, were awesome. I came back from the band trip on Sunday night, and it was awesome! I loved Pennsylvania.

We left freaking early on Thursday. Then we got to Amish country in the afternoon. We first went to a touristy model Amish house/farm. We spent most of the trip in rural areas like this, particularly Lancaster, and everyone's favorite, Intercourse, PA.
