My parents didn't really do the whole pin yin thing when they were growing up in China so even though they teach me Chinese and we go back every..5ish years...my pin yin sucks, but I can understand/speak/write/read Chinese alright.

LOL, NO. CHINA SHOULD BURN IN HELL AHAHAHA I've lived in Singapore my whole life, though I have gone to different parts of China and Hong Kong on numerous occasions for holiday. Singapore is a multi-racial country, and English is its dominant language, so that's why I'm billingual (I also know a variety of dialect, Malay, Indian, French, Japanese and German phrases, haha).
