President's death

Apr 12, 2010 18:28

As Poland's citizen and Pole, I am obliged to dignify the memory of Polish President, his wife and all politicians and great figures of our social life.

They all (96 people including the cabin crew) died in a plane crash near Smolensk, Russia. They were supposed to attend the 70th anniversary of massive murder of Polish officers in Katyn.

This tragic incident made us all orphans. Although we often complained about the President's way of leading the country, we're all deeply shaken. We lost many of our most intelligent and amazing people. Amongst dead are all army leaders (Air Force, Land Force, Special Forces). Also priests of different religions.

They wanted to make the whole world aware of the terrible murder that made us lose thousands of people. They wanted to be sure everyone would hear and acknowledge their words.

It's a duty to repeat them.

It is my personal wish.

Katyn once again asked for Polish blood.

I hope you all rest in peace.
