BPOI was a very big part of my life for a long time. Here, I felt accepted, appreciated, and cared about. That's very nice and everything, but in that case, why leave? Granted, if you're not going to be able post too often/get onto the internet/whatever due to children/work/moving to the Arctic Circle then that's one thing, but you just seem to be arbitrarily cutting off contact for no reason. Everyone gets ten minutes they need to fill every once in a while, no matter how busy they are.

The internet isn't going anywhere. Why not just check in when you can? You're obviously not making a KT-esque ploy for attention with this post, so I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that there's really no need to burn any bridges.

You pose a very good question, and the best I can answer is that I have my own private reasons for not wanting to go there anymore, period; I tried it for a little while but it just didn't work for me. I could also have simply not come back, but I've always ...hated? might be too strong a word, but I've been very sad to see people arbitrarily disappear with no indication of what was going on. In such a social community as BPOI, where we've shared so many things, I decided this was the best course of action to take.

Thanks. What's your BPOI name, by the way? I don't recognize you right offhand.
