Vitamins

Does anyone know why most multivitamins have a vaguely pleasant, yeasty, bread-y kind of smell to them? Does one of the nutrients in a vitamin also contribute to the smell of bread, or something?

Vitamin B-12 is often manufactured from yeast; maybe that's it?
