End of fish era

Since the early 90's I've had a 75-gallon freshwater aquarium. I've always really loved Black Ghost Knifefishes, since I find their movement really graceful and I'm fascinated by their weak electrical activity. Normally they don't get along so well together since they are aggressive feeders and fight, but the very smart pet store owner in town ( Read more... )

...or we WERE looking at mid-January until the fire across the street upset the entire construction schedule. There is apparently only superficial damage but they lost a lot of time verifying that, and they were under a lot of pressure to complete on time as it was. *sigh*

Aw...I'm sorry. My boyfriend LOVES fish and we have a 75 gallon fishtank as well. I know he would be devastated if they were to die. I think a 25 gallon tank is less obnoxious anyway though, and you can sell a 75 gallon tank with equipment on Craigslist and make around $150.

I got $200 for it. :) Of course the really nice Eheim filter added to the value a little.

Thank you for your sympathy. It is always sad when pets die, even when they're not cuddly.
