It was a beautiful day. The Pidgies were chirping, the sun was shining, and a brand new Pokemon trainer was starting his journey into the unknown. His name was Barnaby Brooks Jr., and his quest was to find the dastardly fire Pokemon that had murdered his parents right before his eyes many years previously.
And, well.
If he became the greatest Pokemon trainer ever, that would be nice. He supposes.
The story starts with our hero, Barnaby, tromping through the forest on his way out of town. This is it, he thinks, shading his eyes against the sun with his hand, this is the day I start my search for that monstrous creature that has made my life a living hell.Barnaby continues to wade his way through the tall grass, when suddenly he sees the grass in front of him waver. He halts, and waits with quickened breath and sweating palms to see what appears ( ... )

Kotetsu sauntered over to the vacant workstation and plopped himself in his partner's chair. Stupid Bunny was going to be at his photo shoot for at least another hour, no problem with poking around a bit.
This thing was practically ancient. What was this from? 1998? Geez. Kotetsu flipped the vintage, gray machine over in his hand. It's not like he could be expected to not peek and see what he was playing, right?
Pokemon. Red version.
Kotetsu almost laughed out loud.
...everyone knew Blue was better.
He flicked on the machine, smiling at the old, familiar icons of one of his favorite games of the past. He wasted hours with this thing!
Kotetsu was engrossed now, and leaned over on the desk, examining the particulars of Barnaby's game.
