I thought I'd actually give swimming non-stop for 3 hours a go at Splashdown today. But when I saw Lim Zhi Cong there, I was like... fuck it. Funnily he didn't do any fancy Qi gong moves before or during his attempt. Or maybe he qi gonged himself into a comatose state and managed to hold his breath all the way till NUH!

Imagine if you rested 1/3 of the time and still managed to do 130 laps, if you didn't rest, you could've done maybe 60 laps more and be 3rd!

don't be so mean! don't forget that you put him in that hospital bed in the first place! ;P

well, i don't think coming in 3rd would have been that hard. but with all that crowd in the pool, i'd rather not bother. perhaps it wouldn't be that bad if it were normal swimming. at least no dangerous obstacle clearing from amateurs. but then again, the obstacle was the main reason i had an advantage over most of them.

hey.. glad to hear that you had a great time! i was at the tourism conference and couldn't attend in the end.. but oh well.. there is always.. next year!
