I slipped and fell on Friday night. Because I broke the fall with my palm, part of it is quite badly bruised now. At least it isn't as swollen now ( Read more... )

haha i slipped n fell on my bum bum. i cant see it but i think there is a big bruise there too.

left or right? can u still write? or type?

luckily it was the left hand. or else i wouldn't be able to write!

fall on bum also can bruise meh?? must have been a hard fall! you should get someone to take a look at it. haha!

bum is the best place to fall on. cushion ma.
i fell down a couple of steps with my bum because it was wet ...

be careful of injuries like that. sometimes it is a scaphoid bone fracture which doesnt heal very well and may cause long term wrist arthritis. u would want to go have it xrayed immediately.

thanks for the advice. i'm just waiting for the bruise to go away before deciding if i should see a doctor.

well, if there is a fracture of the scaphoid, it has to be attended to immediately because of the odd blood supply of the scaphoid. if u wait too long, the broken distal half of the scaphoid may die off and then you'll be in trouble...
