Actually, that sounds really good. When we were going through a wild foods phase, we collected and cooked nettles. They were a heck of a lot better than too-old dandelion greens.
I made asparagus and mushroom risotto yesterday. It was pretty good, but not evil good. Clearly what it needed was some additions from the great outdoors.
Now I'm coveting the spaghetti & meatballs in the new Fine Cooking. Looks a lot like the CI version except for the step of finishing the spaghetti in the sauce over high heat. Hmm...
You just have to heat them up so their stingers (which are apparently full of formic acid) melt and can no longer stab you. And wear rubber gloves while working with them before that.
