I would suggest taking a year off. Give yourself some time to figure things out and find a direction. After I graduated I got quite lost and didn't really know where I was going. There were so many directions. I got a job with St. David's which was good, but not exactly what I wanted to do. Eventually I found the AmeriCorps job which seems to be a much better plan than Texas. But it's still always an option.
Though with a few other things going on in my head/life at the moment - I don't think it would be in my best interest to take a year off. I don't feel like going into it online - as it's not for everyone to know. There's just a fair amount of shit that I am realizing I never quite delt with, and some of the pressures I've put on myself don't match with taking time off. IM me and we can talk if you want.
