What's with Yankee fans getting so worked up?

Don't you have confidence in your team?

Okay...

But I love the Yankees. That is why I was so worked up. I have Reggie Jackson and Mariano Rivera on top of my TV. For luck. Or great justice. I can never remember.

i'm terribly happy with the stephen that i am getting. i know that i am around quite a bit and maybe that makes things a little difficult for you. i try to help out as much as i can with everything, as i know you are extremely stressed and exhausted, but i can only do as much as you will let me. i think we're both just going through a tiny rough spot in each of our lives and the fact that we are still getting along great, despite all of the other shit we have to deal with outside of our relationship, means good things for us. i promise not to take my stress out on you like i am so prone to do. i think that you're worth sticking it out for.

oh yeah...you would not believe the amount of red sox fans among my co-workers. all that was said today was how the yankees would be out of the running by game 3. it was infuriating. why is it that red sox fans think that the yankees aren't even worth playing against?

Fear. It isn't that they think the Yanks will lose to the Twins...they HOPE the Yanks will lose to the Twins. Boston fans (note that I said fans, not the team) want none of the Yanks in the LCS. None.

Not true, it doesn't matter who the sox play in the ALCS. The yanks will provide a much better playoff atmosphere than the dome.

It still counts if the Sox don't play the yanks for the pennant. Otheewise 90% of those 26 championships don't count.

We are getting closer to a serious clash...

I think the Yanks get the best of Santana in game 4.

Pedro, clean up your room before daddy gets home.

Sorry, I couldn't resist that...
