*is all the coherency she can summon up on the day of the Doctor/Rose reunion!!*
No, wait, I'll try again. You've read Brideshead Revisited, which I once started but never really got into, despite my mother's protestations of it being fantastic - was it? Would you recommend me reading it? And didn't you like The Faraway Tree? I swear The Enchanted Wood was the first book I ever owned, and I loved it. It really irritates me that they've changed all the names and plotlines and things to make them more 'suitable' for today's audiences. *rolls eyes*
Hmmm...I'm not sure. It does get better about halfway through after the boring University stuff but the end is a bit of an anti-climax. Only read it if you have time, it's no a good book to delve in and out of. I was quite disappointed, I thought it would be more of a period romance or like The Forsyte Saga.
I loved them when I was little! I'll have to look in the attic, but I far I may have given them to a charity shop. I used to love all Enid Blyton; St.Clare's, Famous Five, Naughtiest Girl...
