I'd like to see:

Barnaby going crazy after seeing that transmission, getting Kotetsu away from Jake (princess carry to the hospital?), kotetsu refusing to acknowledge his injuries & pushing himself (like he does), Barnaby staying with him (or taking Kotetsu to his apt) while he heals up & their relationship getting deeper as each (but especially Kotetsu) let's his mask drop. Drunken confessions and awkward, hot first-time Barnaby/Kotetsu would be fantastic. (No weepy uke Kotetsu or cold seme Barnaby tho, please.)

Sorry this is such a long prompt, but I'd love to see a happy ending to what Jake puts both Kotetsu and Barnaby through.

Kotetsu's entire body was as rigid as a corpse, shivering under contact with the air. That fact, and the fact that he was covered in swelling red lines and purple marks of humiliation, made the unreasonable fear that if Barnaby touched him, he would collapse into dust right in his arms. But then the form rolled, curling in on itself, and he could see the overwhelming burden of pain scratching its fingertips up and down the hero's spinal cord. He was in a lot of pain-left to suffer in a pool of blood and semen.

It was enough to nearly drive Barnaby into a mad rage, a wild tantrum with the mantra it's not fair, it's not fair, because it wasn't, and he'd slam his fists into walls and scream until he was hoarse if it meant Kotetsu would be cleansed entirely of the battle he'd been a part of; of that unspeakable act that that sadistic motherfucker offered without respite, without taking the injured man's groans and cries of pain into account. He took pleasure in it. He loved it. How could anyone want to see Kotetsu T. Kaburagi make such ( ... )

Thank you for the comment; it was pretty difficult to write, being so far out of my comfort zone. Writing hurting characters of this magnitude is always painful for me. ;A;

Can someone possibly write a SOLDIER/FFVII AU? Maybe Kotetsu is a First Class that gets saddled with a Second Class student (Barnaby), maybe Ivan's the mildly aggravating ninja, maybe Yuri got locked in a coffin in a basement for a little too long, maybe Karina sells flowers? idek, just thoughts.

Anon can run with this in any direction they want (seriously, I just want the mashup so badly) and while I don't really care for yaoi I won't object to it either.

This would basically be the best birthday present ever, by the way.

Even though a big deal is made about trust and mutuality and such, the show pretty much goes with Barnaby relying on Kotetsu, without much of the other way around. Barnaby even only learned about his waning powers at the last possible minute because Kotetsu was totally willing to put his own life on hold to help him with his problems.

So, Kotetsu relying on Barnaby, post-series, preferably emotionally (though I do like me some beat-up Kotetsu, ahem). Learning to be vulnerable.

I may take a crack at this, but... I'd like to hear what OP!Anon would prefer: that Kotetsu and Barnaby been in-touch during the time-skip in episode 25, or not?

Whatever you find more convenient. If I had to choose, I'd say not in contact; there was a recent thing in one of the magazines that said Bunny pretty much withdrew in the year gap to deal with his memory/identity issues, along with his guilt for attacking Kotetsu.

What it says on the tin. Nathan spies on Kotetsu and Barnaby having sex in the gym showers. Kotetsu/Barnaby preferred, but I don't care who tops. Can be the other way too~

- Bonus points if Karina somehow ends up spying with Nathan.
