I heard on Morning Report this morning that Parliament yesterday unanimously passed a law making driving under the influence of nominated drugs an offence carrying the same penalties as driving under the influence of alcohol

I choose to see this as recognition from our legislators that alcohol is a drug, and thus a step in the right direction.
