My husband and I dose each morning will half-listening to the CBC......this morning he woke up and said he'd been dreaming that he and I were learning how to speak some Native American language, and learning "the volcano that eats the mountain", which was something like "Ayop Ta-ah olah" or something like that. Lying in bed, I suggested he Google it, to see if it actually meant something. Later we realized he had half-heard the news....amazing how the brain retains things heard while asleep. No wonder those Vikings are laughing their drakkars off....... ps - have you heard this one? "What's the capital of Iceland"?

The Capital of Iceland? Isn't that something like the capital of Victoria - 20 cents...
On the hearing the news while asleep - I still recall waking up one morning and stumbling out to the kitchen in L'Estrange Street and saying to Mum that I had dreamt that JFK had been shot, only to discover that it wasn't a dream. I had left my bedside radio on 5DN all night and heard it in my sleep...

Apparently it was for a period a while back. I never caught up on the actual details, just recalled the joke (anything against the home of VFL sticks, for some reason - witness the to & fro with Julie on my fb page)
