haha, i guess so. but for me, feeling fast and being fast are two different things. You can be fast, but if you dont feel fast, you wont run fast. does that make any sense. remember, all these thoughts are coming from a kid who would rather go on a long run than go to a party.

Well that sucks. Your SUV imposed hiatus from running has had farther reaching effects than we had hoped. Do you think your injury is limiting your speed or do you feel it was the off time that has sapped your speed? Perhaps Sara has some insight into this. I would think that the loss of your ability to run "fast" is both a physical issue and must have some impact on your thought process as well. I just think that you will have to put in a lot of time running to regain your your awesome speed. After all, a month off for you is like a year off for the rest of us not so fast people. Good luck and RUN.
i dont know if you already know this, but you probably do. just remember to stay in the present because looking back or looking forward may get you more depressed than you need to be. the "i was fast, but will i ever be fast again?" is awful to think about and i know its probably always on your mind, its all part of the rehab for an athlete. but try and focus on the present, keep running hard, stay focused.
well, ive decided that since i goto tech school ill help. i have begun the creation of rocket powered footies. these rocket powered footies are fueled by awesomeness. The truth is tom brown, no human subject has such powerful awesomeness as you, and i think these boots would fit snug.
