Saturdays had a fairly simple routine for Teyla. Wake up, run, meditation. Not all that different than her usual day to day routine, but on Saturdays she took a bit more time with each thing. Now, he has no idea what to expect. The island didn't seem to want battles from him, which left him a little lost. Still, Teyla was in as good or better shape than him and, honestly, he was intimidated.
Which was probably smart.
"Hi," he said, after lingering for a moment, watching her warily. He dropped a duffel bag with a change of clothes down beside him, eying those sticks. After a moment, he rumbled, "Thought you were gonna have me pumping weights?"

"I never said what I would have you doing," her smile turned sly, her eyes amused, "you should not make assumptions."
Grabbing a second set of sticks, she tossed them to him, "It is called Bantos. I thought you might enjoy it."

"I'll try to restrain myself," he muttered, quietly. "Sticks?" he said, catching them when she tossed them. "....just sticks?"

Teyla didn't give him a chance to prepare himself before she attacked. Her sticks spinning, even at his height it only took her a moment to have one against his neck, the other behind her, waiting and ready.
