I didn't think there was anyone to give a damn about left in London, but apparently I was mistaken as my memories of you were pleasant. Nostalgic in a warm rather than false sense. I think because whilst we knew each other fairly well, you never feigned closeness for cheap laughs. You afforded me the same general warmth you gave to most of those you knew. With you, I felt, I hope, I got what was written on the tin.
