When the flash of the cursor bothers you, it's time for a coffee break. And to make copies. If worse comes to worse, do what I did: ask Kim if you can organize stuff for her. (She'll be ticked at such an offer, but then she'll take you up on it.) Somehow, the stories could come to me after that. Or I'd put them off and sleep on them. (Of course, my deadlines were very loose.)
