New program

We finally finished choreographing my new program yesterday!  We're using "Hero's Wedding" from Much Ado About Nothing, which was one of the top musical contenders last time around.  We opted for the Handel last time because the tempo was slower, but Cathy says I've become quite a bit stronger and am really covering the ice now, so we can finally

i agree with you about bunny hop. it is EVIL and frankly dangerous and would rather a zilion times to a waltz jump. i hate side half flip too, that stupid forward landing is so dangerous!

Only barely touched upon the Bunny Hop in a lesson, and tried a few at the barrier, but yes, I would agree with 3turn. EVIIIILLL!!!

I'm trying to teach myself the bunny hop. Definitely doesn't seem natural.

That is so cool that you are competing in basic skills competitions! I would if I could, but there are ZERO basic skills competitions in my area. :(

Hey there! I found your blog by clicking from one journal to another, and I just have to give you major kudos! I'm also a beginning adult skater, and I just absolutely love it. This sport has had huge positive impact on my life -- it really boggles me sometimes, but I won't question it at all.
