When Roy Mustang had first joined the Military, he was prepared for the arduous hours of study and work, the psychological trauma he knew he would have to face and his own dilemmas concerning life and alchemy. He had braved through intensive training and honed his flame alchemy skills, dealt with more criminals and dangerous fugitives than any normal colonel of his stature and fought in the Ishbal war. Thanks to Hughes' influence over the years, he had even developped an acute tolerance for the annoying habits of subordinates.

However, Roy Mustang was not prepared for this.

"Oi, where's the food? The fridge is empty!" Ed slammed the fridge door closed, "the only thing you have in there is milk and a couple of microwaveable dinners!"

Roy dropped his pen on his desk and proceeded to massage his temples. Babysitting two
alchemists, he knew, was NOT part of his job description. "Ed, please DO make yourself at home! Pillage away my belongings! While you're at it, why don't you ravage me senselessly?!"

Ed choked on a tuna sandwich (apparently the only edible thing in the entire apartment) as Al thumped his older brother's back urgently, "What the hell are you saying?! You're the last person I'd shag with!"

The dark-haired alchemist glared down at Ed. "I never thought you even swung that way, Full Metal. But then again, with your height, you'd be perfect."

Al had to use all his might to restrain Ed, "Ah, thank you Roy-san for putting up with us. We'll try and make it as peaceful for you as much as we can for the next three weeks."

Roy again had to remind himself that there really was no other alternative. He turned towards the phone and remembered the fateful conversation he had with Hawkeye.
