Left New Orleans and onwards through Mississipi, Gulf Port and Biloxi are still disaster areas from Katrina, on to Alabama through Mobile and into Florida, stayed in Pensacola, the Tornado had passed Pensacola the day before we arrived, lots of damage - bridge down, finally arrived Panama City Beach. Things we will miss - the morning ritual, watching the birds with first cuppa of the day, followed by a swim and walk on the beach, usually 7 - 8am, the sea is flat as a pancake and the atmosphere is pure magic.....
