I think I'll be doing more batches as side-projects every now and then, now that I have all that stuff around. It's a slow learning process, though. I hope we can enjoy some of the results together at some point, possibly after some cooking evening's dinner.
I've considered selling some at MMC, to get some of the expenses back. But even if I don't sell I'll be sure to bring some samples so you can see how you like it. :)

Personally I always like the dry meads with high alcohol percentages better. Sweet mead is too sweet for me. ;)

And they're not terribly sweet. Like you, I prefer mead that's not too sweet. I like sweet, but you can have too much of a good thing.

I am always interested in "not-so-sweet"meads. I don't like any of the commercially available ones for that reason.

Ich mach' noch mehr. Die erste Runde hat sich erstaunlich schnell in Luft aufgelöst. Andererseits waren es von Anfang an nicht so viele Flaschen.
