I continued to cross-dress the poor kid all the way through his single digits, too.

I discovered something the other day while swapping POVs on some of my scenes: swapping a sympathetic character to his younger brother's POV, even keeping all his dialogue the same but taking his thoughts out and giving his younger brother's reactions... makes him look like a dick. Consistently. Every scene.

I think you always look like a dick through your younger brother's eyes. It's like a truism.

In my brother's case, I can't say it's entirely unjustified... >.>
