I liked that, very much. Clever, if not my preferred way for saving Sam. I like where we are going with Cas.

I'm ready for an interesting next few episodes.

The season opener met with general approbation around our house, as well. Season 7, with the Leviathan plot line, kind of wandered off the track -- I don't think that season's writing staff and showrunners had a proper feel for the show (what with wandering off into political allegory and ditching the Impala and all), but last season brought it back to its roots and it looks like this season is going to follow the same course.
