Gabe/Brendon fic
This is a Gabe/Vicky-T/Brendon/William fic as well as a Brendon/Ryan fic
Brendon really shouldn't be here.
By here he means the Cobra Starship bus. In the back lounge, And his head should definitely not be in Gabe's lap. This is for many reasons, the top one being that Ryan is probably waiting for him back on their bus, wanting to snuggle and watch a movie, or some other couple-y thing. Gabe shouldn't be doing this either, as a matter of fact. He and Vicky-T are pretty much joined at the lips. Seriously, they're always making out.
He looks over at the other couch that's there to see the woman herself typing away on her laptop. She glances up at Brendon and smiles reassuringly. She doesn't actually care, she and Gabe decided when they first started dating that monogomy wasn't going to work for either of them. Brendon thinks that's why they're the most secure couple he knows. Well, besides the MCR couples. Ryland and Alex are playing some video game and Nate is commenting. They don't care either. Gabe is typing away on his phone.
Brendon knows that this is one of the main reasons he finds cheating so easy. There's not as much pressure to keep it a secret or sneak around. Another reason is that the Cobras are surprisingly close-knit and Brendon likes how they all gravitate towards each other when they're on the bus. He feels more at home here. Not that Panic isn't like that, but these days they've gotten into more fights as they disagree over what they're going to sound like on their next record.
Brendon counts that as a reason why he won't break up with Ryan. It would hurt the band. It's also that Ryan is sweet and caring and all Brendon ever wanted in a significant other. Gabe leans down and kisses Brendon, then returns to whatever he was typing. Brendon scratches off the second reason. Gabe is all of those things and more.
He hasn't actually told Gabe that he's been considering breaking up with Ryan. He considers what would happen if he did. Definitely the band breaking up. That he has no doubts about. He's not an asshole, so he'd probably tell Ryan about him and Gabe. Ryan would probably want to beat the shit out of Gabe, but Spencer would probably stop him. Brendon knows that Spencer is aware that he isn't being faithful to Ryan, and he isn't as angry as Brendon expected. He seems oddly resigned and Brendon think that if this does happen, Spencer might stay with him. They both want the same thing for the band. Jon is fiercely loyal to Ryan and Brendon suspects he won't hesitate to go with Ryan. If that does happen.
He also has to consider his relationship with Gabe. He knows that Gabe won't leave Vicky-T. Unlike Brendon with Ryan, he truly loves her. He's definitely going to have to find someone who accepts that Brendon loves Gabe far too much to give him up. It's not that hard, Bilvy did it. He knows about William, as do the other Cobras. That's probably why there was no skirting the issue with them when he and Gabe became him and Gabe.
He doesn't mind sharing Gabe. He technically already does, with the fans and the friends that they hang out with. He also knows that Gabe loves all of them. Victoria, Bilvy, and him. He knows that sex is also different for them. It's not always just him and Gabe. Sometimes Bilvy joins in. Sometimes Victoria. Sometimes both.
It's far from conventional, but Brendon wouldn't trade it for anything, really. He runs his hand up Gabe's arm and he leans down for another kiss. Right then and there, Brendon decided to end things with Ryan.
