Fire Fighter Story!
Just for the record, today couldn't end soon enough. Went to the Chiropractor yesterday, super awesome guy! he is amazing, fixed me right up, but because my neck and hips have been out for so long (since snowboarding accident) my whole body needs to regroup, and i have the worst monster headaches ever today! and i'm so sorry.. yes i'm feeling ( Read more... )

heh... I just hope I never have to be getting out of my house late at night due to an emergency.. I sleep in a "wifebeater" shirt & in my boxers... that would be kinda bad.. :-)
I did hear though abotu one earthquake down here a lady was in the shower and ran outside NAKED when the tremors started... THAT would be embarrassing...

yeh ginger was okay.. sporty was cool though. i think her and posh were my favs.. i'm goin back to grade 8 when i say this! lol
yeh i never lived in a highrise before. All of a sudden i'm planning escape routes in my head in case of emergency and contemplate if i'd rather burn to death or jump out of the 13th storey.. mhhh not happy thoughts

Yeah, I have often wondered when I go to bed in the clothes God gave me what I would do in an emergency. I hope I would remember where I left my pants.
About the high rise, I think this is an instance where my rock climbing skills would come into play. If I had a clear shot (no flames shooting out of windows melting the rope) I could easily rappel from 13 stories up.

Yeh i'm not good with heights.. standing on the balcony alone sumtimes makes me wheezy. but the next two floors bellow us are all brothers.. i guess under extreme situation i could climb my way into their balcony below us with some help. Balcony beside us is a witness too.. we have 75 publishers in our highrise alone.. lol so i'd live i hope.
even though mountain climbing training would come in handy
