01Jun But you guys must be aware of the discrepancy. We see the other teens have sex, get pregnant? Darren: Um, honestly, no, I disagree. I don’t see that. I see them as the standout couple that is much more solid than some of the other relationships, and to make any big jumps from that could potentially dismantle the security they have.

10Jun Ian: Wants Springsteen. They will start writing in a couple weeks. Aren't going to change the entire cast, but some of the cast will graduate. On the GleeProject winner: we are very, very excited about the prospect of bring on this new person. It going to be really, really good, and totally interesting something we had totally not thought of. This person coming onto the show is going to add a really, really, funny dynamic.

Allison Adler (Chuck and No Ordinary Family) will be co-executive producer
Marti Noxon (Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Mad Men, Grey’s Anatomy, and Private Practice) will be a consulting producer.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Big Love) will be a co-producer.
Michael Hitchcock (writer on MADtv, actor on Glee and United States of Tara) will be a consulting producer.
Matt Hodgson (Glee script coordinator, Eat, Pray, Love) will be a staff writer.
Ross Maxwell (Running in Traffic) will be a staff writer.
16Jun Naya hoping for (sexual self-acceptance) growth for Santana, Kevin wants Artie's behavior with girls addressed. Jenna wants a dream sequence for Tina, vague on graduation/S3 retirements.
17Jun Ryan: Filming starts mid-August, season begins mid-September. Kids will graduate after S3. Will and Sue will remain. S3 will introduce two new characters, with more in January. Ryan recently got engaged.

20Jun Chris on characters moving to NYC: "I don't know what I can say on camera with a straight face and what I can't! I would just tell the fans: Don't be worried. That's all I'm gonna say because a lot of fans are worried that the characters are going to graduate and leave the show, but that's not necessarily the case. So don't fret." Kurt found someone who could love him the same way he wanted to love someone.
21Jun Moving forward w/ Santana as a lesbian. Chris' plot: "It’s something that happens in high school every day that Glee has not covered yet." (Academic cheating? Addiction? Anorexia/BDD?)
21Jun Ryan: S3 will be about the characters. Fewer songs, no guests, one (BIG) tribute episode. Stories planned for Mercedes, Mike and Tina, and Will. 20-episode arc for Sue featuring her congressional campaign and a love interest. As they've only started writing, Blaine, Sam, and Lauren are in limbo (until next week). Writing staff of nine will focus on the envisioned Endgame.
21Jun GleeProject's winner will be Sue's most hated yet. Winner wasn't who they expected.
22Jun Ryan: Chord and Darren aren't seniors. S3 will break Fall Semester and Spring Semester. There will always be huge stories with Lea and Chris (they want an uplifting storyline for him) but we'll see more stories for the underused characters.
22Jun Can't announce the tribute ep theme until the artist does. They're trying to cut back to 4 songs per episode. GleeProject winner will be in the first ep. RM believes he cut the wrong person.
23Jun Season Three Begins September 20th!

01Jul Harry and Darren promoted to regulars, Ashley and Chord are not. While they said Chord could return as a guest star, contradictory tweets from Chord: "It’s been a good year. Too bad it’s over. Time for summer and starting fresh." and his sister: "it's they're loss. Period." indicate otherwise.
02Jul In keeping with the reduction of guest stars, Charice/Sunshine won't be back in S3.
04Jul Iqbal: will miss working with Chord.
05Jul Chord was not the blind item diva from February who was at risk of being fired. Jayma's contract was renewed and Ashley will be back as a guest star.
05Jul Albatross claims Chord and Ashley are gone, filming starts in a few weeks, fresh faces abound as it is to be Finn, Quinn, and Puck's last year.
06Jul Oddly, Glee claims it's up to Chord if he wants to come back. "His option to be a series regular was just not picked up at this time," clarifies the source. "If Chord wants to appear on Glee, the choice is his. The Glee writers like his Sam character, and have plans to write for him. He and his reps have been told that he is welcome back to Glee, and everyone hopes he will show up on August 10 when filming begins." The insider points out that it took Shum "two years to become a regular," adding, "If Chord has a great season, which we expect he will, then he will become a regular like Harry, possibly as early as January." (Hmm, what would they be writing for him if they aren't sure he'll even show up?!)

06Jul Glee's Emmy Submissions: "AUDITION" (aired 9/21/10)
In the season premiere, the glee club tries to recruit new members, including a foreign exchange student Sunshine (Charice Pempengco) and football player Sam (Chord Overstreet). Songs include "Telephone," "Listen," "Empire State of Mind" and "What I Did for Love."
"SILLY LOVE SONGS" (aired 2/8/11)
Love songs are the theme in honor of Valentine's Day. Songs include "Firework," "When I Get You Alone," "Fat Bottomed Girls" and "Silly Love Songs."
"ORIGINAL SONG" (aired 3/15/11)
The glee club members must write and perform an original song. Blaine (Criss) and Kurt (Colfer) share their first kiss. Songs include "Candles," "Raise Your Glass," "Get It Right" and "Loser Like Me."
"THE SUBSTITUTE" (aired 11/16/10)
Coach Sylvester (Lynch) is promoted to acting principal, and Holly Holliday (Paltrow) arrives as a substitute for Will (Morrison), who is out sick. Songs include "Forget You," "Nowadays/Hot Honey Rag" and "Singin' in the Rain/Umbrella."
"DUETS" (aired 10/12/10)
The assignment for the glee club is to pair up members to sing duets. The unintended result is several relationships starting up and some ending quickly. Songs include "River Deep -- Mountain High," "Lucky," "With You I'm Born Again" and "Happy Days Are Here Again/Get Happy."
"NEVER BEEN KISSED" (aired 11/9/10)
Its a boys versus girls competition in which they must perform songs from the opposite gender. After being bullied at his own school, Kurt visits Dalton Academy to watch the Warblers perform. Songs include "Teenage Dream," "Our Love/People Get Ready," "Start Me Up/Livin' on a Prayer" and "Stop! In the Name of Love/Free Your Mind."
06Jul Ryan, Brad, Mike, Jenna, and more TBA to appear at Comic-Con.
06Jul Brad: Wants to bring the good stuff to Comic-Con. Want more story arcs. "Last season we spent a lot of time on relationships, with people dating other people and next season we want to spend a little more time on letting the stories play out. Some said there was a little too much music, so we might pull back on the music a bit. But in general, we love these characters and we want to spend more time with them and find more ways to explore different parts of them. We want to keep making it appointment TV that you don’t want to TiVo."
12Jul Darren's Comic-Con past, if they have him on the panel it'll be full-circle.
12Jul Imogene begins filming on 08 August in NYC.
13Jul Dot, Darren, and Harry added to Comic-Con panel.
13Jul Graduating characters won't even appear in S4. RM has talked to Chris and Lea about it, but not Cory (he "must know"). S3 will focus on plans for after graduation (as RM's senior year did) and S3 premier will show who's leaving. They're writing story lines that include parents.
13Jul Lea: "We always knew we'd graduate in real time. It's all part of the plan and it's all good! It's going to make Season 3 amazing!!!"
13Jul RM: Has been writing for Chord, will talk to him soon, never intended for Chord to be leaving, just wasn't made regular. (Says again that Sam is younger.) Early in premier we'll see who's leaving but doesn't know if Darren will leave or follow Chris (hasn't been written yet, maybe his heart will be broken). Tribute is not in the first seven episodes. Wants to do a second season of GleeProject. Sue's hate for the winner is irrational and only makes sense to her. Finchel to be together all of S3 (said that last summer about S2 tho). Tina/Mike story, a great Santana story, a great Brittany story and a great Mercedes story. Fans want and he wants to write more of the kids' parents.

14Jul Chris found out about his Emmy nom by a phone call from his dad, he found out they had made the announcement about graduating via angry twitter followers. Thinks Kurt would have his own "Kurtain" magazine after graduation. Not his choice to leave. Clovis and Fresno State nominees. Going to work on SBL, looking forward to Klaine in S3. Not signed beyond 2011-12, "I knew he was 16, but I didn’t know what grade. Then when it was announced I was leaving, I was like, 'I guess it’s our senior year next year!'" Not attached to a spin-off...it's just rumors. Knew it would happen eventually, but heard it from twitter. Chris is taking his Grandma to the Emmys. Champagne, Kurt isn't funny - wants to do lighter stories in S3, woke up by his dad, knew they'd graduate eventually but was surprised to hear announcement on twitter, hopes to come back for later episodes, wants to do a psycho role next. If he wins the Emmy it could play with his Globe while he's away at work - like cats. Heard the graduation news via twitter. Hasn't talked to his co-workers about leaving the show yet.
14Jul Dante and Ian try to say the kids are graduating, not that they're leaving. (Apparently unaware that Ryan said they will not appear in S4.)

15Jul Ashley: Chris got full creative control of the skits and researched for some, he wasn't allowed to tell her what he was doing so she'd be surprised. Darren "Imma kiss him tonight," and Naya got in on it so Heather wouldn't be left hanging. Ashley on Klaine.

21Jul Darren in talks to replace Dan Radcliffe from 03Jan-22Jan plus two weeks of rehearsal in Dec. Will miss an episode and-a-half of Glee. Also cleared to miss time to be in Imogene with Kristen Wiig and Annette Bening, which is a dark comedy that starts filming in August.

28Jul Ryan is a douche. Claims the actors' reps got the info wrong. Says he was planning a spin-off, but isn't anymore...not because he's got another show distracting him and is no longer enamored with Glee, but because he has a case of the butthurt. Fox isn't pleased.
