So I've been watching Avatar: TLA this past week, and I just made it to the end of book two this morning before work, leaving me to seethe through my whole shift because...
Kay. I do not understand at all Zuko in that finale. He was so OOC for the sake of plot that I just... ARGH. Zuko is not going to betray his uncle for the Avatar. He faced the same silly dilemma in book one, when his uncle was captured by earthbenders. Zuko catches a glimpse of Appa, glances at his uncle's trail, and he follows his uncle.
Are you telling me that months and months later, after his hokey 'metamorphosis', he's going to just up and ditch his uncle in favour of siding with his crazy, lying, psychotic sister whom he hates?
Being angry at a poor choice and an ooc choice are completely different things, and this one is both.
I watched the first few episodes of book three hoping that his uncle would jump out from behind some curtains, and they'd be all like, 'hahah, just kidding', and drink some jasmine tea. Instead Zuko's too busy making kissy-faces with a girl who's completely under Azula's thumb. IS THERE SOMETHING CRAZY IN THE WATER?
Someone explain this to me, cause I'm so, so unimpressed right now. Sigh.
Have also been wasting my time on the Alice in Wonderland DS game, because it is cute and fun and I've even become endeared to the huffy noise Alice makes when you leave her alone too long. XD
