Smoking STINKS!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday we had company over to watch the first game of the world series. Despite my having gotten only four hours of sleep (if that) I had a lot of fun. The people were a lot of fun to hang out with and with my sister there I had help with the cooking and cleaning

What you should have done was when John brought out the ashtray pointed out that he would have to take it to the porch. Too bad if it's cold outside, he has choices.. 1. stay in the warm house and not smoke. 2. go outside in the cold and smoke. 3. GO HOME!

If after talking to him he doesn't tell his friends about the no smoking rule - maybe you'll be forced to embarrass him next time. He'll definitely learn the lesson then.

On one of our trips to Ohio: Jason and I stayed at a motel in a no smoking room.. They had an ashtray in the room! But it had a no smoking sticker in it, so I stole it. lol We both thought it would be the perfect thing for our smoking guests, although they already know the rules.

In fact.. when we visit Elley and George (which isn't often) they try to de-smoke their house and George doesn't smoke when we are there. I've always liked that about them.

What I should have done was to throw out EVERY SINGLE ASHTRAY he brought home from his friend's aunt's house.

His friend did quit smoking in the house when I made a big deal about it. He even went OUTSIDE outside and not just on the porch. I sprayed the rooms but my house still smells a bit. I am going to get an air deodorizer spray because the lysol is just too strong and isn't doing the job. I may just light some candles to see if that helps but I don't know.
