Red and white and navy is an excellent colour scheme regardless of flag connotations :) Why is that length of shorts soo hard to come by? I don't blame you for buying multiple pairs, they are a really nice fit on you.

For years have I searched in vain for women's short of a sensible length (2-3" above the knee) that actually fit and flatter! There was one year where the only shorts available were denim. Frankly, if I want denim shorts, I have one or two old pairs of jeans which fit nicely which I could cut off and roll to my preferred length for free! Now it's the length issue. The current fashionable length for shorts is about 3" shorter than the ones above, and while I spit in the eye of age-appropriate dressing, this just does not suit me (and didn't when I was 19, either).

This one is cute. I have a particular affection for navy, which I think we've talked about before. I love red, too, but my only red item of clothing is my winter coat.

I love that cap. I don't think I've ever seen it before, and I pay attention because I'm always a bit in awe of your hats. I'd love to wear a hat sometimes, but I've never found one that looks right on me so I don't have any.
