Yep. It totally sucks when someone jumps to conclusions and then doesn't own up to it. :( I mean, what's the point after that?

No, I agree. People have also been substituting "Oppps" and "Oppps, my bad" for apologies these days. I think it it's a bad habit that shows a great lack of respect.
