how do you change your LJ name? i've seen other people do it, but i assumed you had to pay for it or something.

i never show my parents anything i draw, because they go and show it to their friends and then their friends ask me to draw things for their kids or whatever.

I'd been thinking about you, I just couldn't think of anything to say on the last posts outside of cheesy "Glad to have you back!"s. But it is good to see you back :)

Yay for the framed painting! :)

Knowing my mom reads my lj whenever she can, I keep certain things "friends only" that aren't really horrible for people to know about, but prompt my mom to question/argue/pity.

Well, Gryllus kinda left the world-o-furrydom, fairly quietly.

And I feel amazed at someone having my stuff on their desktop for a year or so...

People are weird about the art skills. They forget they exist. They remember when you were a little kid and they had to say nice things about the art because you just have to encourage creativity in kids, and then one day they look and it's passed from 'okay' to 'lots better than I could ever do' and it's interesting all of a sudden...

I've given thought to changing my journal's name. Probably to "egypturnash" since I finally got egypt.urnash.com up and running, but... I dunno. Names are hard.
