I feel I ought to be rereading Harry Potter, and I'm not, and I don't know if the reason is that I secretly don't want to, or if the reason is that I am ASHAMED which in itself would be shameful.
I am still embarrassed sometimes by the extent of my fandoms, possibly because they mean so much to me (I always feel jointly proud and embarrassed when anybody sees my Jack Sparrow themed living room for the first time, for instance) ... but I'm not rereading HP 5 and 6 like I was going to just 'cause I decided that I don't have time, and I don't HAVE to reread them (there's not gonna be a test, or anything), so I can let it go. :)
ORDER OF THE PHOENIX THIS WEEK!!! (*loves*)
Yesterday I saw 1408. PLEASE TELL ME WHY JOHN CUSACK SEEMS SO FAMILIAR, BECAUSE I'M PRETTY SURE I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY OF HIS OTHER MOVIES.
Because he looks so much like Edward Norton (the Narrator in "Fight Club")?
THANK YOU. You may not believe this but last night, while racking both my brain and my DVD shelves, I arrived at the very same conclusion. It is lovely to have your agreement. :)
Also now I feel much less guilty about not rereading the books, you're quite right, it is hardly REQUIRED of us. Good. Hurray! And and and I saw the trailer for OOTP the other day for the first time and OH IT IS PRETTY. And I think most of the things in it will actually look like I expected for a change, and I'm just so awfully excited that all I can do is not talk about it out loud to anyone for fear of accidentally shrieking and wringing my hands and hopping about.
I suspect I would love your Jack Sparrow themed living room, and possibly attempt to smuggle it out under my coat.
