So theres this chance i can get a job in dc for blackboard ... thetes a smaller chance that i can get a promotion to a similar job at my work ... question .. am i actually willing to relocate to dc when i dont know people .... they keep asking me if id be willing to relocatw without telling me the paybut costof living difference is huge ... this

DC's expensive to be sure, but has its advantages. Lots of people come visit! The biggest shocks coming from Rochester was price and the amount of time I spend in the car -- going anywhere takes quite a while. On the other hand, sounds like you'd appreciate a more extensive public transportation system than Rochester has.

It seems kinda crazy to me that I'm seriously considering moving. It would be a giant career move -- in that I'd actually have a career. But I'd have like a month to find a place to live and stuff -- which isn't long.
