I volunteer for the American Red Cross two to three times a month.  Normally I work the canteen, which is the area you get sent after you donate blood to recoup.  My job is to make eye contact and polite and pleasant conversation in order to avoid any bad reactions to the procedure.  Its been proven that being spoken to by someone friendly and some ( Read more... )

I wish I could completely rid myself of selfish thoughts, and inclinations.  I'm sure it would make me a better person.
