Lampshading

I have determined through trial and error that I hate parties. Does that make me antisocial?

stupid ideas, !open commline, !endrance, how to tell when 'koma is traumatized, brevity for once, this one's hopeless, talking to myself (again)

...If you hated that Valentine's thing, it doesn't necessarily mean you're antisocial. Just that you have decent taste.

I've never really understood that idiom. I don't see how the sense of taste compares to having standards in aesthetic arenas.

At any rate, it was an excessively traumatic event.

I've never given it much thought... It's just something people say.

It did feel more like a punishment than a celebration.

Verbal traditions are an interesting paradigm. Does the fact that they continue out of pure tradition make them useless, or is that kind of memetic behavioral system function as a sort of social genetics?

Needs more research.

That would depend on why you hate parties.

Traumatic psycho-spacial personality displacement can be fatal in humans.

[It's obviously not in AI, or Musashi would be dead.]

Then no. You're not antisocial.

You're extremely extroverted.

I am? Oh, I guess that I am. Huh....

[A thought occurs]

Have I been annoying you lately? I understand that you tend to disapprove when we chatter. It's just that there's not much to do, sometimes.

I can try to tone it down, somewhat...

Honestly? Not really. Some people just don't like parties. I don't mind one sometimes, but I'm not much of one either.

Hmm, but if disliking social gatherings isn't a sign of antisocial tendencies, then what's the deciding factor?

Uh...

Okay, how do I word this right.

Maybe that's just... not your preferred way of socializing?

Oh, I understand! It's not the method of socialization, but the frequency!

Thank you, that's very informative.

Sorry I couldn't help you.
