I only have a life on the weekends.
Driving downtown on Saturday night. Just happened to catch the bats. I was surprised because they haven't been going out very much this year. With all the rain this summer and resulting swarms of bugs, they haven't had the need to fly more than a few feet out from under the bridge to catch a meal. I was especially surprised they were as far north as Round Rock. But it was nice to see a familiar sight.

It was so ridiculously hot. And of course we were at the outdoor stage. Thx, Emo's.
They played a ton of new songs. They all sounded pretty good from what I could tell. I liked what lyrics I could decipher. Can't wait for the new cd. February, I think she said? That's far away :/
Came home today and studied my ass off for this huge test tomorrow. Let's hope I haven't screwed myself here. Edit: 80! Not too shabby.
Mom's coming to visit me Tuesday! Sweet! Hopefully she can stay the night and we can have fun.
