Three, would you believe it? All detailed and in color. All also to be found on dA.
We got new Ahadi players, but only one posted their description so far.
Horatio, a Assassins-Creed-style Ragabash of the Shadow Lords. He's a white, blonde young male in Homid, and his Lupus takes after his hair color. Horatio favors dexterity and stealth over brute force and as a Ragabash, he's got his little problems with self-important authority figures. Good that our group was not under control of a Simba... oops.
Pic took two evenings, not too detailed but detailed enough that I wouldn't feel lazy. The bright streak that looks like a glossy reflection on his flank was an accident that I didn't notice until after the upload, but it made the figure much more interesting. Thanks, random streak.
I only drew Horatio because someone on dA left a nice comment that I would. So I drew their fox. Someone else put the picture in their "cats" collection, where it is indeed the only non-cat picture. Guess I don't make my foxes very foxy. Or it may be because I drew OliverFox so much that I got stuck on the cute shape of kit foxes. This also took two evenings. I didn't remember to paint the background first, and somehow the colors turned out different from what I thought they would, not sure how that happened. Either way, working on this was encouraging.
And I got into a little discussion with a nice person on dA who seemingly dreamed of a cross between a duck and a dragon because they loved both animals. So I tried, basing my dragon of a duckling. :) They liked it, yay! I tried this kind of suggesting shiny scales for the first time, and I was surprised how easy it was. Two evenings also. I almost gave up in the sketch phase as I did with all previous attempts of drawing a dragon again, but I forced myself to finish it because I really wanted to surprise that person. :)
Current mood:
artsy, finally again!
