I missed the call.
My parents took my dog to the emergency hospital because it was just too hard for him. He had some things on his heart and the two growths on his chest had combined and formed a tumor. They called me before they put him to sleep... and I missed it.

So I was in Taqueria La Cabana with my coworkers on Tuesday, and the TV was set to a Discovery Channel show about Shaolin Monk Warriors (something like that) and this one guy had to shove his hands between these two giant metal rollers. When Asila exclaimed "Why the hell is he doing that?" I loudly whispered "It's because he's ASIAN." We giggled. And so did the guy sitting at the next table. <3<3<3
