But Catholic Charities had it revenge. Any married individual who goes to work for CC will not have their spouse eligible for heath insurance benefits, effective a day or two ago. Any individual who marries in the future will not have their spouse eligible for benefits. Any individual who is married and wants to have their spouse get benefits through CC in the future is out of luck. (Existing employees who are already married and whose spouse is getting benefits through CC are grandfathered in).

True, but I'd characterize it more as them cutting off their nose to spite their face. They also threatened to pull out entirely, but didn't.
