I enjoyed each individual section, but I think I was about 2/3 the way through before I realized I was regressing through one person's life (yeah, I'm slow on the uptake). That was lovely. If you're looking for any kind of critique, I'd suggest weaving a stronger thread between the passages so people like me catch on quicker :P

Thank you for your suggestion to weave a stronger thread through the sections. I'm about to try an in-place edit incorporating that suggestion as well as other valuable feedback received from Diana and Miriam, via other channels.
