Thanks! Got them done this afternoon. It was weird, though - the guy asked if I wore my necklace every day (which I do) and he said "Ok, well just know that if you try to travel and you're NOT wearing it, they won't let you through." I mean, I understand if they prefer no jewelry in photos, and I would have happily taken it off, but I find it unlikely that I'd be denied entry to the US or another country for not wearing a necklace.
Anyway other than that weirdness I got my photos and sent off my application :)
Yeah, I thought it was extra funny since the necklace was cut off in the picture anyway! So you can see a chain (which I definitely do wear every day) but no pendant (which I swap relatively often). But yay passport.
